Thomas Bauer Photography
When I first started out in film photography,
I was intrigued with the camera as more of an imaging tool to try to convey
what I perceive to see, and not necessarily what traditional photography creates.
I was amazed @ how I could put images on paper using light and chemicals.
I have a camera collection of many years, and have been photographing people and things all my life,
but Ive not been so fulfilled as much as I have since the introduction of digital camera imaging.
Ive been working with and building computers since the introduction of DOS (The PC),
So it just seemed fitting that I go into digital photography/imaging as well,
Between my passion for cameras digital imaging and my wizardry in computers,
it just feels natural.
Ive always been pretty good @ pencil/pen sketching of: nature, castle fantasies...
Creating landscapes and places never seen anywhere before using only my imagination
So my images here are more the results of a passionate artist who turned photographer.
